FAQs

What does Mesh Flow handle?

Mesh Flow is the broker, not the data buyer. We help assess fit and connect your company with a suitable buyer. The buyer manages the offer, export process, licensing agreement, and payment.

What data is the buyer interested in?

Operational records that show how work moves between tools. Customer lists, pricing, and IP are excluded from the intended scope; the buyer’s agreement defines the exact dataset and exclusions.

How is sensitive information protected?

The buyer’s preparation process de-identifies and anonymizes the data before it reaches an AI lab. Identifying details are replaced—for example, a client name becomes “Company A.” The agreement specifies the safeguards.

How long is the data retained?

Raw exports are scheduled for deletion within 120 days under the partner program. The buyer’s agreement confirms retention and deletion requirements, with separate terms for use of the anonymized dataset.

What access does the export require?

The buyer coordinates a one-time historical export with your technical contact. The process described here involves no installed agents or ongoing monitoring. Export arrangements are agreed directly with the buyer.

Who is responsible for data protection?

The buyer’s data-provider agreement sets out privacy safeguards and responsibility if de-identification misses something. Have your attorney review these provisions before signing.
